This episode has been sitting completed for a few months, but I was waiting until we got a few more finished to put it out. HOWEVER, our beloved Mark Kalmbach proclaimed us "late" and I don't think he meant we were behind schedule. I think he thought we were dead. Well, we may be dying, but we're not dead yet.

A Week of Geeks continues unabated! The Geeks delve into a HUGE variety of topics! The, er, upcoming? Fant4stic movie, the ACTUALLY STILL upcoming Batman V Stiviano, Christopher Nolan, Kingsmen, the Flash, Green Day, and Scott's refusal to give Jimi Hendrix an ounce of credit for anything.

A Week of Geeks continues with ANOTHER original episode! The Geeks get into a discussion of warehouse finds of old Star Wars toys and their White Whales of collecting. Which of course segues into bucket list concerts the Geeks still want to see. Which somehow leads to white guys you get confused with each other?!? A Week of Geeks Continues! Ron has finally watched The Returned and he and Scott have to compare notes. The gang then launches into a discussion of little-known spinoffs of television shows. We continue to fight over the pronunciation of the word "GIF." AND we FINALLY answer an email question from a listener: What if Star Wars: A New Hope had flopped? The question came to us from the podcast Almost Educational. The topic is discussed in episode 27 https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/almost-educational/id898635818?mt=2 This episode of D4G was recorded live on 03/19/15 at Zachry's Seafood and Steaks http://zachrys-restaurant.com

Here it is! For those of you who have been patient with us as we allowed real life to interfere with our release schedule, we're rewarding (punishing?) you with A Week of Geeks! Each day for the next week, you'll hear a brand new episode of Dinner 4 Geeks. That means you'll get seven episodes in a row, more than we released in the second half of last year! And these episodes go wayyyyy back. See, it's not that we haven't been having dinner. We just haven't had the time to edit the dinners into a somewhat listenable podcast. We're not promising the release schedule will be roses from here out, but we CAN say that we have over 30 dinners we haven't released and we're still recording nearly every single week, so we still have a lot to say! A lot of it is redundant and inane, but we use a lot of words when we do it. In this episode, Scott thinks it'll be a neat idea to give his fellow geeks some prizes if they can answer Star Wars trivia questions. However, he buys a cheap ebook to get the questions from and the book proves near-incomprehensible! Stubborn to the end, Scott refuses to drop and the Geeks embark upon a maddening, frustrating Star Wars trivia quiz.

Paul Hermann appears on both The Forcecast and Star Wars With Friends. He can be found on twitter @Hermann22.
Some elements of the conversation with Paul Hermann were not directly relevant to his Star Wars story and were edited from the podcast. Some of the more interesting segments that were removed are included after the credits as bonus material.

Please join us next time when Jason Collier will share his Star Wars Story. Thank you for listening to My Star Wars Story and thank you for being a part of generation Star Wars. Special thanks to Ryan Shaw. Also, I've been doing this podcast completely at my own expense for a year and a half now, and I've decided I want something for it. No, I don't want money. The best I'll get is a t-shirt. See, I've decided I want to be a Rancho Recruiter! All you have to do is go to ranchoobiwan.org and become a supporter, mentioning that Scott Ryfun referred you. It's only $40 a year, and you get exclusive access to tour tickets at Ranch Obi-Wan, as well as exclusive merchandise, not to mention a super-cool membership kit and a creative Christmas card! Your contribution will go towards maintaining the world's largest Star Wars collection and the museum that houses it. You also help cover the expense of providing free tours to schools and other special groups, plus you'll help fund charitable tour giveaways and auction items. Plus, you'll be helping preserve a record of one of the most transformative pop culture phenomena ever. And did I mention it's tax deductible? It sure is! Look, I'm not asking you to do anything I haven't done myself. Please go and become a member of Rancho Obi-Wan today by going to Ranchoobiwan.org and registering. And if you don't want me to get the t-shirt, that's fine. Please become a member anyway. You won't regret it.

We valiantly tried to be the first podcasters to put a commentary track for The Force Awakens online. Steve Glosson and Scott made plans and set a date to record, and THEN Rebel Force Radio beat them to the punch. The boys decided to soldier on anyway. Listen and enjoy! Take it to theater with you and listen the next time you watch TFA!
This commentary recorded 1/16/16 at a secret undisclosed location.

One thing I'll say about this episode, it is probably the most immediate of the 78 bazillion Force Awakens recaps out there. The Geeks (minus Ron; long story) travel a couple of hours to St. Augustine to catch the first show on The Force Awakens in IMAX 3D, and then immediately hit a restaurant to do what they do best--er, well--er, often, and that's voice boisterous opinions over meals.
NOTE: The background music is a bit louder than usual, as we were seated at a much larger table than usual (we all brought our families) and we were placed directly under a LOUD speaker.
This episode of D4G was recorded 12/17/15 at Cheesecake Factory, St. John's Towne Center, Jacksonville, FL.
